Dirty Laundry Therapy doesn’t believe in resistance, only in the fear of the unknown.
Origins
I opened Dirty Laundry Therapy in 2025 after seeing how generic most clinics felt. Healing is almost never calm or pretty. It’s often snotty, gut-wrenching, and raw.
The more I worked with people, the more I noticed that clients wanted a “no bullshit” approach to their work in therapy.
Today, my clients learn to recognize when to slow down and attune, and when to let go and move on. I challenge my clients to slow down and notice what they’re actually saying to break the cycle of avoidance.

Therapy Philosophy
My origins opened me up to the concept of people being comprised of multiple parts, and it led me down the rabbit hole of Internal Family Systems (IFS). To me, it makes total sense! For example, one part of you might want to have dinner but another doesn’t want to cook.
The theory fascinates me because it uses concepts we naturally engage in and turns them into something therapeutic. It allows your parts to become aware of each other and work together, instead of just getting louder.
I believe even the parts that make us behave negatively or unproductively have a purpose worth exploring. Maybe they want to do something else, find a better way to do their job, or simply not feel alone. I completed my IFS Level 1 training with the IFS Institute in 2025 to deepen my expertise.
About Me
I’m a Queer, French-Canadian (Franco-Ontarian) who enjoys knitting, being in nature appreciating the trees, and trying new things in the kitchen. When I have the chance, I love to do multi-day horseback trail rides. I’ve always found relationships fascinating: how they begin, are maintained, and end. I like to harness my curiosity to understand multiple perspectives.
I make my clients feel heard and understood. I react candidly to what I hear you say. You’ll feel that I’m really listening. When crazy stuff happens to you, I’m not going to keep a straight face! I will be there to celebrate your successes as much as hold you during your struggles.
If you align with one or more of the following, I encourage you to reach out to assess our compatibility:
- You struggle to understand what seems to be going wrong in your relationships or in the way you speak to yourself.
- You seek relief from the current patterns of your life.
- You feel exhausted just thinking about the healing ahead of you.
I am located in Ottawa, ON (EDT/EST) and I’m able to offer virtual services Canada-wide.
